Uniting and encouraging churches in 24/7 prayer

for a city-wide, country-wide spiritual awakening that turns our hearts to God

The Challenge

For each church in the city to take one day a month and cover it in prayer 24/7. This can be done many ways but is often accomplished by asking the congregation to sign up for a half hour or hour of prayer during that day. Establishing a coordinator for this is helpful.

Cleveland Prays 24/7 is modeled after and in conjunction with AmericaPrays.org, Cleveland Prays was established on May 5, 2022, the National Day of Prayer, under the auspices of Cleveland Net and city pastors and city Mayor Kevin Brooks & county Mayor Gary Davis. It’s specific vision is to unite and equip the churches in Cleveland (including those in greater Bradley County) in 24/7 prayer for Cleveland and Bradley County in a spiritual awakening, city and county government, first responders, and schools (See prayer focus below). We are a multiethnic, interdemoninational, multigenerational, Jesus-centered prayer movement.

Prayer Focus: Taken from AmericaPrays.org and expanded for Cleveland/Bradley County.

7 Major Prayer Focuses:

  1. PRAY FOR UNBELIEVERS TO BE SAVED
  2.  PRAY FOR A CITY-WIDE, COUNTY-WIDE (AND NATIONAL) SPIRITUAL AWAKENING.
  3.  PRAY FOR UNITY BETWEEN PASTORS AND CHURCHES
  4.  PRAY FOR FAMILIES.
  5.  PRAY FOR RACIAL RECONCILIATION.
  6. PRAY FOR LIFE TO BE VALUED AND PROTECTED THROUGH ALL STAGES OF LIFE BEGINNING AT CONCEPTION
  7. PRAY FOR LOCAL AND NATIONAL GOVERNMENT LEADERS – and for our schools, law enforcement, and military at local and national levels.
